Seychelles officially the Republic of Seychelles whose capital is Victoria, lies 1,500 kilometres (932 mi) east of mainland East AfricaComoros, Mayotte (region of France), Madagascar, Réunion (region of France) and Mauritius to the south. With a population of roughly 94,228, it has the small population of any sovereign country in Africa.

The country gained independence from United Kingdom on 29th June , 1976. Has 3 official languages: English,  French and Seychellois Creole. The country might have some negatives but lets talk about the positives.

Is Amina B. Zakari incharge of Inec Logistics?

In October, 2018 the Independent National Electoral Commission reshuffled chairmanship positions of 5 out of 15 of its committees. Amina Zakari was the then Chairman of Electoral operations and Logistics. As a result of this action she was given a new chairmanship position to head the Health and welfare committee. In January 2019, Amina was given a new role as the Chairman of the committee on collation centers. So the news going around on social media accusing her of spear heading the postponment of the February 16th election is FALSE as she is not in charge of Electoral operations and Logistics but rather Professor Okechukwu Ibeanu.

Breaking News!! Akpabio resigns as Senate Minority leader

He disclosed this in a letter dated August 4, addressed to the Senate Deputy Minority Leader, Emmanuel Bwacha. He, however, did not state any reason for the resignation. Akpabio, however, thanked the senate leadership and referred to the PDP as “our great party”, “for giving him the opportunity to lead the caucus for three years.” See his resignation letter below… Rumors have it that Senator Akpabio has his eye on the seat of the senate president.
