On this day October 1,1960 the political  entity of over 300 languages and so many tribes got Her flag flown higher and the previous flag known as the union Jack was lowered.
In 1967 Nigeria's first civil war broke out but in 1970 there's a United Nigeria once again.
Things haven't been rosy we have  constantly been faced with bad leadership, poor economy, religious crisis, terrorism and natural disasters but in all these we are still one country. Let's come together to build a stronger Nigeria of our dreams.
God bless Nigeria. Happy Independence Day
Happy Birthday 9ja. 57years ain't easy but God still keeps us. Let's hope for a better country.

Two persons are feared dead and 13 buses destroyed on Friday night after some  hoodlums attacked the buses  carrying sensitive electoral materials to Obot Akara local government area of the state. Is Amina B. Zakari incharge of Inec Logistics?

In October, 2018 the Independent National Electoral Commission reshuffled chairmanship positions of 5 out of 15 of its committees. Amina Zakari was the then Chairman of Electoral operations and Logistics. As a result of this action she was given a new chairmanship position to head the Health and welfare committee. In January 2019, Amina was given a new role as the Chairman of the committee on collation centers. So the news going around on social media accusing her of spear heading the postponment of the February 16th election is FALSE as she is not in charge of Electoral operations and Logistics but rather Professor Okechukwu Ibeanu.

Breaking News!! Akpabio resigns as Senate Minority leader

He disclosed this in a letter dated August 4, addressed to the Senate Deputy Minority Leader, Emmanuel Bwacha. He, however, did not state any reason for the resignation. Akpabio, however, thanked the senate leadership and referred to the PDP as “our great party”, “for giving him the opportunity to lead the caucus for three years.” See his resignation letter below… Rumors have it that Senator Akpabio has his eye on the seat of the senate president.
