Akwa Ibom State University(AKSU) SUG election ends in chaos
Today being Friday, 18th November 2016 was penciled down by the University Administration as the date for the election of a new Students' Union Government. Accreditation and voting in both campuses went on smoothly for about over 2 hours until a Mercedes Benz car and a Jeep drove into the school parking in front of the accreditation and voting centre of the Main campus located at Ikot Akpaden in Mkpat Enin LGA. Within spilt seconds a fight erupted owing to the occupants of the cars who wanted to forcefully enter the voting venue without the observance of due process abdy rumors have it that the 'hoodlums' are said to be students of University of Uyo.
