One Corner Dance Puts Srudents In Trouble As 13 Islamic SHS Face Disciplinary Committee For Dancing ‘One Corner’ In Class

Some students of the Islamic Senior High School (ISSEC) in Kumasi, Ghana, are facing the school’s Disciplinary Committee for misconduct.

The students, comprising nine females and four males, appeared in a video that went viral on social media which showed them dancing to the popular ‘One Corner’ song from one of their classrooms. .

The students were said to have taken the video and shared it on their personal Facebook pages and on YouTube. The circulation of the video prompted a swift action by school authorities who summoned them for interrogation. .

Parents of the students were invited by school authorities on Tuesday for a meeting which lasted for hours. They were also reported to the Ashanti Regional Education Directorate. .

According to management, it would wait for the outcome of investigations from the committee before taking a decision on the matter.

Is Amina B. Zakari incharge of Inec Logistics?

In October, 2018 the Independent National Electoral Commission reshuffled chairmanship positions of 5 out of 15 of its committees. Amina Zakari was the then Chairman of Electoral operations and Logistics. As a result of this action she was given a new chairmanship position to head the Health and welfare committee. In January 2019, Amina was given a new role as the Chairman of the committee on collation centers. So the news going around on social media accusing her of spear heading the postponment of the February 16th election is FALSE as she is not in charge of Electoral operations and Logistics but rather Professor Okechukwu Ibeanu.
