Painful loss!!! Beautiful Lady Drowns Just Months to Her Wedding

This is heartbreaking. A pall of grief fell on Uke community in Anambra State, after a worshipper at Adoration Ministry, Miss Olivia Uchechi allegedly drowned in a canal as she was trying to urinate.

Shocked residents and friends of the late Uchechi combed the canal for her whereabouts without success. The 31-year-old lady’s wedding was four months away.

The incident happened penultimate Sunday.

A resident identified as Robert Agu said: "She had left the church in the middle of Sunday service to answer the call of nature when she slipped into the water-logged canal. The service, her friends started looking for her to no avail.

"They continued their search for her whereabouts till her over-bloated body was found the next day. She was found with the dress she wore to church. Her tragic death is unfortunate because her wedding has been slated for December.’’

It was learnt that her remains were laid to rest last Monday. RIP!

Is Amina B. Zakari incharge of Inec Logistics?

In October, 2018 the Independent National Electoral Commission reshuffled chairmanship positions of 5 out of 15 of its committees. Amina Zakari was the then Chairman of Electoral operations and Logistics. As a result of this action she was given a new chairmanship position to head the Health and welfare committee. In January 2019, Amina was given a new role as the Chairman of the committee on collation centers. So the news going around on social media accusing her of spear heading the postponment of the February 16th election is FALSE as she is not in charge of Electoral operations and Logistics but rather Professor Okechukwu Ibeanu.

Breaking News!! Akpabio resigns as Senate Minority leader

He disclosed this in a letter dated August 4, addressed to the Senate Deputy Minority Leader, Emmanuel Bwacha. He, however, did not state any reason for the resignation.
