Man Arrested After Snatching Car With A Child Inside

A young man who snatched a vehicle on Friday night at Gaa Akanbi area of Ilorin, Kwara state, has been apprehended by security men. There was a baby in the car when the incident happened.

After the vehicle was snatched, police operatives were notified and they swung into action.




The culprit was nabbed as the stolen car and baby inside were recovered.

According Uche Osefoh who posted the photos on Facebook, the girls pictured were kidnapped in Port Harcourt, and the kidnappers have posted photos of them without their shirts, demanding N500,000 ransom each. Two persons are feared dead and 13 buses destroyed on Friday night after some  hoodlums attacked the buses  carrying sensitive electoral materials to Obot Akara local government area of the state. According to an eye witness report was the victims died as a result of gun battle between the hoodlums and the security personnels on election duties at Nto Edino, the headquarters of Obot-Akara, during the distribution of sensitive materials for the postponed Presidential and National Assembly elections.
