Two persons are feared dead and 13 buses destroyed on Friday night after some  hoodlums attacked the buses  carrying sensitive electoral materials to Obot Akara local government area of the state. In October, 2018 the Independent National Electoral Commission reshuffled chairmanship positions of 5 out of 15 of its committees. Amina Zakari was the then Chairman of Electoral operations and Logistics. As a result of this action she was given a new chairmanship position to head the Health and welfare committee. In January 2019, Amina was given a new role as the Chairman of the committee on collation centers. So the news going around on social media accusing her of spear heading the postponment of the February 16th election is FALSE as she is not in charge of Electoral operations and Logistics but rather Professor Okechukwu Ibeanu.
